don't let the algo πŸ†-block you

personal brands are all the rage

oh heeeyy Reader!

what are your thoughts on people using your name in newsletters like this one? I mainly ask because I'm torn.

on the one hand, I think it's an easy way to add a splash of personalization into an email and psychology shows that seeing our own names helps us to pay more attention (it's called the Cocktail Party Effect*)

on the other hand, I sign up for a LOT of newsletters with my nickname "air". always lowercased. so when it's slapped in the middle of other people's newsletters, a girl gets CONFUSED all the time "is this a typo? why does it randomally say air?" until... "oh, yeah that's me"

so consider this me telling you that I'm on the fence about it πŸ˜‚ and that i need your input!!! love it or leave it, Reader????

anywho,

I've been working on refining my offer suite a LOT lately. mostly because I've been thriving off referrals for so long (TYSM if you've ever sent someone my way!!! ILY!!! 🫢🏼),

but as I'm getting back into the swing of marketing the business (you've seen me on IG more lately, yeah?? 😏), I realize that saying, "I can do anything email or copywriting related!!!"

just... isn't the move lol. it's too vague, it makes it hard for people to picture how i can truly help them, etc etc.

I'm a marketer!! I should know better!!! get your ish together, Aireanna!!!!

so I am. not only am I working on being "ON" social more (I really miss the community vibes I'd built up!), I'm also working on marketing AE Marketing more, aaaaand making it easier to help people with of all budget sizes.

ENTER: The-Unnamed-"Launch-Your-Newsletter"-Offer

having a personal brand is one of the πŸ”₯ HOTTEST πŸ”₯ trends this summer, and while email isn't the place where most trends thrive, this one has its place for SURE.

because, imo, it's not really a trend. it's showing up for your people in a consistent format where they get to know you better, can see if you align with their values, and, most importantly, have a way to hear directly from you without having the algo πŸ†-block you.

which is why I'm working on the messaging around the soon-to-be-named newsletter offer, where you’ll walk away with a solid newsletter structure (including the name!) and an entire month's worth of weekly newsletter ideas to get you going for only $300 (an email-only exclusive price, hehe 😈).

it's basically me hearing what a lot of my peers are saying ("I don't even know where to start!" ("I know I need to be collecting emails, but idk what to send once they're on my list" or "I went to so-and-so's webinar on creating a newsletter, but I never put it into action") and creating something to help them (and you!) out.

no overthinking it anymore, no switching it up every other week bc you're not feeling it anymore, and abso-freaking-lutely, no more needing to lean on artificial "intelligence" to guide your email strategy.

cause girl, I've got your back!! for real!!

we'll yap for an hour (strategically, ofc), I'll ask you hyper-specific questions to get to the root of what will light you tf up to write about; find the sweet spot that'll have your readers excited to hear from ya; and then show you how to put it all into action.

you'll get:

  • a 60-minute strategy call
  • a solid strategy for your newsletter -- including names for the newsletter + sections (~5 ideas so you can choose your fav) AND content pillars to guide your future newsletter topics
  • your entire first month of newsletter ideas + a loose outline of what to write about for each idea
  • wireframe/mockup of the design to get you started

I've a bunch of add-ons for the offer as well, but just know if it’s email or copywriting related, I can def support ya! (see, there I go again being too vague but come oooonn, it's the truth!!! haha)

the sales page and checkout process is still being built, but if this sounds like something you're interested in, HIIIIIGHLY recommend replying back to this email to lmk you're interested!!

my 60-min strategy calls are normally $500 by themselves with none of the extra directional work built in, so I'm not kidding when I say this is a steal!! (and the price will certainly being going up as soon as I finish all the marketing assets around it)

that's all for now (:

was just super excited to tell you about this and simply couldn't wait to share it with you!!! once the sales page is finished, I'll make sure to share that with you too, don't worry. πŸ˜‰

Catch ya on the next wave,

*Cocktail Party Effect definition: the brain's ability to pick out info that is personally relevant (like your name!) even in a busy or loud environment.

P.S. If you need email or copywriting support this summer, hmu! I'd love to help you out, especially if you enjoy reading my work.

P.P.S. I've been working on getting my creative groove back, and one of the ways I've been doing that is writing snail mail with friends! If you wanna become pen pals, I'd absolutely adoooore that.

Edition #149 July 21st, 2026 Guess whaaaaat Reader?? Dead Reckoning is live 😏 I'm BEYOOOONNND excited, but I gotta be real with ya: This is only the FIRST iteration. I plan to add more to the sales page once I get my brand photos (πŸ‘€πŸ‘€) back from my photog I'm planning on renaming the offers. I didn't think I needed to originally, but they're a bit more different than I realized. The local businesses subpage isn't ready yet 🫣 Nor is the streamlined Dubsado workflow 🫣 LOOOOOKKK, I ran into some...

Neon sign that says "hey good lookin'"

Hey, hi, hello! If you haven't read this week's Email Paradise (EP), you miiiiight be a lil out of the loop (go read it!!!!) but this is the fourth (!!!) edition of a bonus add-on where I share the psych behind the creative writing prompt shared earlier in the week. Reminder of this week's prompt in case you haven't done it yet: Pull up a page on your website or a recent social media post and see where you can add more visual and descriptive language into it. Don't overthink it! This is for...

Edition #148 July 14th, 2026 Womp, womp, womp. 90% of the 4-part sales page for Dead Reckoning has been finished, but unfortunately, I underestimated how much time it was gonna take me to finish πŸ˜† But I am suuuuuper proud of how it's all coming together so far!! So here's a couple of my favorite lines: For e-comm founders: "The most successful e-commerce founders are often trapped in operational tasks and simply don’t have the time to build the personal brand authority they know they need to...
